New version: history, voice, cardio, community... our solutions !

Since rolling out the latest version, we have come across a few bugs. Corrective versions will progressively be delivered and solve these issues !

Whilst you are waiting for these corrections, here a  few quick wins:

YOU HAVE LOST YOUR STATS / YOUR HISTORY IS EMPTY

An issue that will be solved with the version 2.0.2. Don't worry, your previous sessions are linked to your account, and are not lost, it's "simply" a display problem.
You'll find these in your account via www.decathloncoach.com (if this is not the case, check you don't have 2 different accounts.)

YOU ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO CONNECT YOUR CARDIO

For Android: 

For pairing to work properly on Android, Bluetooth AND location services must both be activated.
To activate location services, you have to display the status bar in the top of your screen and click on the "PIN" and/or "Bluetooth" icon. The "location services" icon then turns blue. (Please note: the icon can be called differently on the smartphone, "location information" for Huawei, "Position" for Samsung, ...)

You can pair the phone properly once the location and Bluetooth are activated (Icon visible in blue).

If the error reoccurs (a red screen is displayed  "Connection failed"):

1. click on "retry"

or

2. Quit the app, and reopen it, restarting the cardio

This problem only occurs just after pairing the cardio.

YOUR SESSION IS CONSTANTLY PAUSING

For Apple :

Deactivate self-pause feature for the time being, it will be fixed with a future version

YOU CAN NO LONGER ACCESS YOUR COMMUNITY

In our new version, we have put the emphasis on coaching (multiple training plans, new navigation, etc...).

This change in emphasis has lead us to withdraw the community part in the new version.
We suggest for the time being visiting the community via the www.decathloncoach.com website.

THE VOICE IS TOO ROBOTIC, TOO FAST, IS SCARY

Apple : 

How to change your coach's voice?
Go to the phone's settings
--> general 
--> accessibility 
--> speech
--> voice
--> English 

Then choose Kate for a female voice or Daniel for a male voice!

Android : 

So that the coach's voice is not too monotonous and provides the best possible guidance, check 2 things:
1. This app is properly installed on your Android phone

This is Google's official synthesized speech, which in general is of better quality than the manufacturer's, and better suited to Decathlon Coach.

. Check the synthesized speech is well configured in your phone:

--> Settings
--> Accessibility
--> Synthesized speech
--> Preferred engine
--> Google synthesized speech

The default Google voice is then installed.

If you want to change the default voice:
--> Settings
--> Accessibility
--> Synthesized speech
--> Click on the icon on the dial on the right of "Preferred Engine"
--> Install speech data
--> English

You'll have a selection of different voices to choose from, double click on the voice you want to install it. (A voice test will then take place, and you'll then know if the voice is OK).

You can also adjust the speech's rate and intonation of the voice in your Android settings.

SHUTDOWN, PAUSE AND GPS ERROR: YOU NO LONGER HAVE YOUR TRACKING, MILEAGE IS WRONG, NO GPS DATA
